2011 Snowmobile Shootout This Friday in Woodgate-12/5/2011

WOODGATE - Ameri-can Snowmobiler is the host magazine again this year for the 2011 Snowmobile Shootout event to be held on Friday, December 9, at the White-Otter Fish & Game Club complex in Woodgate.
The annual event brings out Arctic Cat, Ski-Doo, Polaris, and Yamaha to vie for the best performance on the one-quarter-mile time trial track. Larger class models often have speeds over 120 mph.
The gates for the event open at 8 a.m. and the event begins at 10:30 a.m. The $7 admission fee includes parking.
Exhibits and food concessions are located inside a heated building on the grounds.
The Friday event is the opener to the annual Snodeo weekend held on Saturday and Sunday in Old Forge. The Shootout will occur with or without snow.
