Historical Club Names Judy Routson “Woman of the Year”-6/13/2011

Retired Boonville Herald writer Judy Routson is the latest recipient of the Boonville Historical Club’s Outstanding Citizen Award. The announcement was made at the club’s annual end-of-season dinner meeting, Monday evening, June 6, at Steak & Brew Restaurant, Turin.
Judy joined the Historical Club in 1999. She served as club treasurer from 2004-2008 and as vice-president from 2008-2010. For several years she was also publicity chairperson.
A native of York County, Pennsylvania, Judy and her husband Keith moved to this area in 1990. Between them, they have four children and four grandchildren in Pennsylvania and Florida.
Since moving to Boonville, Judy has been involved with many community projects, and formerly served as president, director, executive secretary, and publicity person for the Boonville Area Chamber of Commerce.
