Reservations Due by May 14 for Mudge Family Tribute-4/25/2011
The community is invited to a program honoring Pastor Bill Mudge and his family, on Saturday, June 4, in the Kiwanis Building at the Boonville-Oneida County Fairgrounds. Long-time minister at the Boonville United Methodist Church, and more recently at CenterPoint Ministries in Mapledale, Pastor Mudge will leave his position for a new post as of July 1.
The Westernville native announced to his congregation in early February that he had been appointed by Bishop Matthews to serve as District Superintendent of the Adirondack District of the Upper New York Conference of the United Methodist Church. Although he’ll be working in Saratoga Springs, Pastor Bill and his wife Shari will maintain their Boonville home until June 2012. That’s when youngest daughter Hannah graduates from Adirondack Senior High School.
The Mudge family also includes daughter Bekah and her husband Paul Ashman, who have two young children; son Ben and his wife Danielle; and daughter Sarah, a student at Roberts Wesleyan College.
