ABOUT THE HERALD & ITS STAFF           

Welcome to the new home of the Boonville Herald & Adirondack Tourist.  The Herald, which traces its roots back to 1852, is a community newspaper with an excellent reputation.

We are members of the Boonville Area Chamber of Commerce, the Central Adirondack Association, the Trenton Chamber of Commerce, the Lewis County Chamber of Commerce, the New York State Snowmobile Association, and the New York State Press Association, among others.

Many of our readers grew up with the Herald, as did their parents and their parents before them.  Many of our advertisers have been with the Herald for just as long.

We are glad you are here and hope you will come back often.  We will be constantly adding to this site.  In fact, if you have any suggestions on ways we can improve our site to better serve you, please let us know.

And if you are ever in the neighborhood, stop and say hello at the brick and mortar Herald.  We are located on Schuyler Street in downtown Boonville, just down the street from the historic Hulbert House.
